Accompanied by Kosovo's ambassador to France, Gashi, Hasani at this conference has thanked the conference organiser, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), for their continued support for Kosovo's economic development.

Hasan has said that the recommendations Kosovo receives from foreign organisations, such as the OECD, through various studies, through participation in various training and workers organised by these institutions, through different analyses and reports they make in close co-operation with Kosovo institutions. According to him, this is an important contribution.

These “have been very profitable for us and continue to play a key role in the development and implementation of policy recommendations, institutional structure, legal framework, rules and regulatory reforms we have undertaken during our post-war era, etc. ”, Hasani said.

Minister Hasani has also cited the facilities that have come from CEFTA, which have supported liberalising trade for goods and services in the region.

<x0) The ECD gave CEFTA countries to help us further liberalise trade in our region. In particular, the series of CEFTA issues which addressed very important issues in the field of trade, such as the elimination of non-tariff barriers, the integration of trade, IHD inflows, intellectual property rights and so on, have proved to be very useful in eliminating non-tariff barriers and supporting trade liberalisation for goods and services in our region. Such an analysis helped us to understand where progress has been made and where more work must be done”, Hasani stressed.

Hasan has expressed his readiness and commitment to continue this close co-operation with the European Commission and organisations like O ECD.

“We welcome such publications from O ECD, because they give us the technical knowledge needed to achieve the maximum potential of trade liberalisation benefits. We are very determined to continue to co-operate closely with the European Commission and organisations like O ECD on all trade-related issues”, Hasani underscored.
