Minister Gashi: The flow of the Lepenc River may have carried two police officers towards Macedonia

At the scene on the Lepenc River, where two policemen disappeared after a midnight incident Saturday has reached Interior Minister Bajrush Gashi. Gashi said they are in contact even with Macedonia's authorities after the river flow could have transported the bodies of two police members across the border.

He has further stated that there is no information about why there is so much pause to resume research on them.

“We are in touch with Macedonia's authorities because, according to all likelihood, the flow of the river has carried troops across the”, the minister said.

Kosovo Police spokesman for the Ferizaj region, Agim Gashi, has declared that police have been in an official car at Elez's Kacanik-Eater and then the car has fallen off the Lepenc River bridge.

Gashi has declared that investigations are continuing to find missing persons until the scene are also seeking members of the Kosovo Security Force.

It is reported that part of the Lepenc River has been checked, but no police officers have yet to be found.
