As the communiqué sent by this minister reports, the meeting took place in connection with the government's review and sending for proceedings to the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, the Albanian Education Workers' Law, which worked in 1990-1999 school year, prior to the 13 April of this year.
Bytyqi said he appreciates the contribution of teachers of the 1990s and said he is fully committed to pushing this law forward and to proceed to the Assembly as soon as possible for approval.
Bytyqi also asked SBASK chairman Nakman Jasharaj to consider all possibilities for canceling the warned strike.
“P ISA 2018, which is of national interest, while the strike warned coincides with the beginning of this process, while holding the strike at this moment would cause us irreparable damage, as earlier as students have been more aware of the importance this international test of knowledge”, Bytyqi said.
Next, Minister Bytyqi stressed that SBASK's demands are legitimate and that they will commit to properly mending this issue.
