Bajrami, while commenting on the 10th anniversary footnote to drafting the Kosovo Constitution, has said Kosovo Serbs, rather than using constitutional law, are misusing it.
Our” efforts have been to enable changing the Kosovo Constitution to take place without a double vote. The constitution rewarded Kosovo Serbs. Minorities have not used it for destination but have misused it to block the majority”, Bajrami said at the Info Magazine of Kosovo.
”Serbs instead of using this double vote, they are misusing it and using it as an element of the state's deadlock”.
Bajrami said that unfortunately the Serbian List has become some sort of cancer in Kosovo politics, as it is blackmailing Kosovo policy”.
The time has come for a genuine constitutional level debate to open with the International Community. To relate the double majority”.
It's not easy changing the Constitution. But with the misuse of the rights the Constitution has given, I hope we have a harmonisation with international co-operation”, Bajrami said.
