Telekom Board Chairman Besa Shatri has reported before the Government on the state of Telekom, saying they are in a deep crisis.
During the Government meeting, Shatri has said that earlier this month the board has started working on the situation in which Telekom is located.
According to her, they owe 60m euros, with only 18 million of them being able to pay.
Shatri has added that the large number of workers are burdened by this condition, and the other key problem is the passage to code 383, since she seems to lack tools. The next challenge remains to close the debt with Z Mobile.
The key problems that endanger Telekom are switching to code 383, since there are currently shortages of tools. The next challenge is to close the debt with mobile Z. So there is the real risk of bankruptcy. But the next big risk falls from lawsuits resulting in”, she said.
According to Schatri, exiting the crisis they see through loans from shareholders; loans from banks or even attracting foreign investors.
If steps are not taken, Telekom will continue to operate for 12 months, and after that the corporation will no longer meet you as a shareholder, but it will meet the debtors”, it added, addressing the Government of Kosovo.
