“So far there is no decision, but I would like to stress that Germany will not participate in a possible military operation in Syria, but will show any further efforts to signal that use of chemical weapons cannot be allowed”, Merkel said.
It has also stressed that any measures against Assad's regime should be considered, which for Germany means that they must rely on works at the United Nations Security Council and the Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons, broadcasts.
