Legislations About Meat Scandals Approval

Kosovo Assembly MPs have approved recommendations proposed by MP Ganimet Musliu and other deputies over the meat scandal following the debate held at the previous session.

The recommendations are: The prime minister take adequate measures against AWK's board manager and management;

Law organs start immediately responsible public investigation and private subjects bringing suspicious products to the market

Be made the largest budget support for AUVK for its consolidation with laboratory equipment, equipment of personal camera inspectors for professional capacity building and increased staff inspectors;

In the function of increasing AVUK transparency to reflect all of the inspectors' activities on a daily basis;

The relevant legislation specifying the minimum time periods before the deadlines for the use of food products imported to Kosovo;

Increase financial support for measures supporting the rural development programme that increases local production.
