He sentenced him to two years in prison on bail, deputy from the Ashkali Party of Integration, Etem Arifi, after he was convicted of criminal acts of subsidies fraud.

With two years in prison on bail, the same criminal offence has convicted the other indictee in the case, Bajram Gashi.

But their punishment will not be executed unless they commit criminal acts within three years.

Etem Arifi, for the exercise of influence, has been acquitted of charges, since it has not been proven the same has committed this crime.

The accused have been forced to make up for the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS) to compensate for 22.900 euros, as well as the Office for Communities in the prime minister amounting to 2,749 euros.

And if the same do not compensate for the six-month terms of punishment, the same will be reduced.

They are also obliged to pay the judicial paushal each, aside from 50 euros.

According to the indictment, Etem Arifi has used his MP's position to influence the grant of subsidies to the NGO “Ashkali people's voice for Integration”, thus ensuring the amount of 25.646.00 euros. This money, according to the prosecution, was not used for the purposes it was given, but was adopted by Arifi and Gashi for other people.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo had proposed that after maintaining the main review, the same would be found guilty of criminal acts being imposed on him.

Also, the above-mentioned indictees have been charged with making up for the Ministry of Labour and Social Goods to compensate for the amount of 22.900.00 euros, as well as the Office of the Prime Minister for Communities of 2,749.00 euros.
