A Kosovo citizen has been extradited from the Netherlands to serve an eight-year prison sentence in Albania.
According to police announcement, national Fatmir Maliqi has been sentenced by the Court of War crimes in Tirana, the Albanian media write.

The extradition from the Netherlands to our country was carried out by Interpol Tirana, by Kosovo citizens in international research:
Fatmir Maliqi, 51, born in Gjilan, Kosovo.
The First Criminal Tribunal for Tirana has sentenced him to eight years in prison for the criminal work “Narcotics Trafficking”.
As a result of Interpol Tirana's co-operation with Interpol Netherlands, his arrest in the Netherlands was made possible, finalising his extradition to our country.
