National Council of Social Democratic Initiative Chairman Jakup Krasniqi says the Kosovo government, despite only 52 numbers, can govern because the opposition does not have numbers for no no motion. It does not support fast moving to elections and requires electoral reform.
The government can handle certain tasks, of course, given that the opposition camp is not unified, and this gives it the possibility that the government does not have 60 deputies”, Krasniqi said.
“For the first time is this situation created that 61 votes have neither position nor opposition”, Krasniqi said.
The former head of the Parliament thinks that debate should be held in the Kosovo Assembly until finding an opportunity for a suitable date for holding elections.
“Political resources in the Kosovo Assembly need debate to find an opportunity to agree and find a suitable time to go to elections”, he said.
But he doesn't think that in elections you have to go fast.
“Quick selection removal did not support”, he says.
“With this electoral system we will have this score back”, Krasniqi points out.
According to him, the poorly prepared elections and with this electoral system would not be produced anything else.
The “parties should agree on electoral reform”, Krasniqi says. /Express/
