Health Minister Uran Ismaili has said that the Administrative Guide to regulate the price of medicines will directly affect citizens and the health budget.
According to him, this directive removes any suspicion of misusing drugs and prohibits any abuse that has taken place to date at the price of drugs. According to him, saving the budget, there will be more money available to buy more drugs for our patients by providing stable supplies for them.
Our mission has been to do it for patients considering the impact this administrative direction will have. This is a transparent methodology for everyone. Economic operators and contractors will also have the new, taransparent methodology ahead of themselves and which will remove any doubt about misuse of drugs for citizens”, Ismaili said, adding.
This administrative directive helps us save more money, and with the same budget we buy more drugs, which stabilizes the supply further. This directive will have a huge effect on fighting corruption and real impact on patients”, he has said.
Kosovo and Belarus are the only two countries in Europe that do not have such a mechanism for fixing the price of medicines.
