A suicide attack at a voter registration centre in Afghan capital Kabul has left at least 31 people killed, according to state officials there.
More than 50 others were injured in the blast that struck a crowd waiting at the entrance of the centre.
The Islamic State Group (IS) through the Amac news agency has taken over the conduct of the attack.
Voter registration began this month for legislative elections, which will take place in October.
A suicide bomber dressed in an explosive generation targeted the centre, located in the Dasht Barchi area of western Kabul, reports Amak.
There have been at least four attacks at such centres since voter registration was made.
Security remains a major problem in the country.
Afghanistan's interior minister told the BBC earlier this year that both Taliban and IS were aiming to provoke civilians and establish chaos.
