In a speech given to the Iranian Military Day on Wednesday, Rouhani said a strong army is preventing threats from foreign states.

If there are any weapons we need, we will develop it for the most part, or we will secure it if necessary,” Rouhan from Iran's “news agency”.

“We will not wait for permission from the world”.

Rouhani said countries that rely on their internal skills “respect the true sense of sovereignty and power”.

In recent days, many European states have reported that they are considering taking measures against Iran's ballistic missile programme, in an effort to convince the President of the United States to respect Iran's nuclear agreement, reports “Al Jazeera”, the Periscope broadcast.

Iran insists that its missile programme is not negotiated.

During the military parade in Tehran's capital on Wednesday, the Iranian Army demonstrated missile systems, Kamine-2, which are designed to destroy fears.

Other military equipment were missile and radar systems, as well as tanks, armoured vehicles, and sniper rifles.

In this event, Rouhan said Iran's armed forces have never been stronger in the <x0) region's perspective and global development”.

I urge them not to fill our region with different weapons for the sake of their” interests, he said, referring to Western countries./Periscopi/
