Today it is designed to hold the initial trial session of ten accused of participating in the “People's Office”.

The initial session was not held on March 29th after the absence of Bajrush Konjusha, one of the accused.

On that day, Fehmije Gashi-Byqi, Murat Jashari's lawyer demanded that her defender be not present at the courtroom, viewing Yasar as sick and irresponsible.

But this request from the lawyer was rejected by the court.

In addition to Murat Jashar and Bajrush Konjusa, the other indictees of this trial are Avni Llumnica, Ragip Salova, Sadri Ramabaja, Rexhep Toplana, Bajrush Konjusa, Sabit Berisha, Halim Halimi, Bexhet Luzha and Lixhija.

The special prosecution filed charges against them on February 28th.

The 10 accused are charged with criminal acts of revenge in aid, violation, preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo, ownership, control or unauthorised possession of arms and revenge.

According to the prosecution, the accused planned the destruction of the fundamental political, constitutional, economic or social structures of the Republic of Kosovo with attacks and murders of the highest state personalities, ranging from former Kosovo officials from 1980 to 1991, viewing them as betrayers of the country, as well as officials from 1999 to 2016.

KA LLXO.com had secured the indictment against the accused as members of the “People's Office”.

According to the indictment, the organisation had guerrilla groups, while demanding Enver Hoxha be known as hero.

Murat Jashar, one of the accused of this group, has been assigned psychiatric treatment.

Murat Jashari and Avni Llumnica were arrested as suspected of wounding lawyer Azem Vlasi, who was one of the communist-era Kosovo leaders.
