Since 12:00, Kosovo Assembly deputies have gathered at an extraordinary session, in which they are discussing the findings of the Progress Report on Kosovo, which was released days ago by the European Commission. Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who was accused by MPs of staying at home and is not participating in this session, arrived at today's three-hour session. That is what Chief of the Government Information Office Halil Matoshi, who for Periscope, denounced the prime minister's delay. On the other hand, once the session arrived, the first of the Government cited the challenges posed by the report being discussed.

Since 12: 00 p.m., MPs have been discussing the findings of the Progress Report at an extraordinary session.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who had several important meetings, did not participate in this session from the start.

At least that's what Periscope, chief of the Office for Information at the Haradinaj Government, Halil Matoshi, who said the prime minister has an agenda scheduled for days earlier.

Kosovo's “Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has a default agenda, while the session is an extraordinary call. By the time the hearing began, he was at a meeting with the director of the Department for the Western Balkans at the British Foreign Ministry (FCO), Fiona McKhham. And at 2: 00 p.m., he had his next meeting:x2...

And he called the MPs ' claims false that he is staying home, not participating in the session.

No, no, that's not true. The prime minister is in the office, busy with meetings”, Matoshi said.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj appeared earlier at the session, who announced that he just concluded an important meeting.

He said that the Progress Report requires deeper analysis, so he called MPs' call for this extraordinary session wrong.

The claim for an external session is wrong on your part, because such a report requires deeper analysis. You should leave more space for yourself. I don't understand what the difference is like today and next week”, the government's first declared.

He said that today I will not talk about the successes they have noted and the progress they have achieved, but about the challenges they have recorded in the Report.

“Today I'm telling you about the challenges we've presented. The challenge in municipalities where Serbs live, Kosovo's weaknesses addressed the financing of political parties. It is a challenge the law on gender equality, Parliament, with more scrutiny of Government, administration reforms. KSF parliamentary oversight, The AKI of other independent agencies”, he said.

On the other hand, he indicated what the Government will do to overcome these challenges.

“in the government's first meeting will propose operational plans for these challenges. We have this meeting Monday. The report has certain dedication. It is a major achievement that has been recommended for opening Macedonia and Albania negotiations. Visa liberalisation has to be confirmed before the summer break to”, the prime minister concluded.

On the other hand, MPs over time complain of non-participating government at the Assembly hearings, where reporting is being requested from them./Periscopi
