Haradinaj thanked Slovenia and its Prime Minister Miro Cerar for this year's chairmanship of the SEECP and for the facilitating role in strengthening regional co-operation.
The Southeast European Co-operation Process founded on the principles of vision for the future and equality is producing concrete results in the process of bringing Southeast European countries together, while maintaining common social, historical and geographical values. Kosovo has witnessed its commitment to good relations with neighbouring countries Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and is continuing efforts to establish good neighbourly reports with Serbia as well. Kosovo belongs to the European family, the family of Western values, and on this journey there is no turning back”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said in his address during this summit.

The SEECP is an institutionalised regional process co-ordinated by the state that maintains leadership in office. Its main mission is to promote the EU's perspective for Southeast Europe and work towards the link, security, stability and economic progress of the region.
Kosovo is proving its commitment to building correct reports with neighbours and Southeast European countries, being part and contributing to joint initiatives and commitments, in the best of peace and future”, Haradinaj said.
The Southeast European Co-operation Process (SEECP) started in 1996 in Sofia with the aim of strengthening regional co-operation and confidence. SEECP participants are: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Slovenia.
