Haradinaj hands Thaci platform for final phase of dialogue with Serbia

President Hashim Thaci reports he has accepted from Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, the state platform for finalising dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Thaci says finalising dialogue with Serbia is a good opportunity for Kosovo to draw close to the EU, writes Periscopi.

Today I accepted it from Prime Minister Haradinaj the state platform of the Republic of Kosovo for finalising dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Finalisation of dialogue is a good opportunity for Kosovo to draw closer to the European Union and strengthen international subjectivity even more.

This phase of dialogue should be concluded with an internationally binding legal agreement that enables Kosovo membership in the UN, but also the full normalisation of relations with Serbia, respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as moving forward as neighbouring states towards Euro-Atlantic integration.

Our team in this final phase of dialogue will be comprehensive and will have full co-operation and co-ordination of all institutions in the country. We are committed to contributing to regional stability and to establishing good neighbourly relations with all neighbouring countries. HTH
