However, Seshel will not go to prison because he spent 11.5 years in prison at The Hague Tribunal during the trial.
The Appeals Chamber ruled that SESH was guilty of crimes against humanity on charges of 1, 10 and 11 of the indictment, which included persecution, deportation and forced transfer of Croats from Vojvodina to the village of Hrtkovci in 1992, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.
This changed the decision on the first degree to which in 2016 the SRS chairman was acquitted of all charges of The Hague prosecution.
Seshel did not participate in declaring the second degree act, where he said that at the time my decision will be made I am sleeping.
Sezel surrendered voluntarily to Tribunal on February 26, 2003, the trial began in 2007 and lasted five years. He received a temporary permit to return to Serbia for treatment in 2014.
With the first instance of The Hague Tribunal's ruling, led by Judge Jean Claude Antonetti, on March 31st 2016, Seshel was acquitted of all nine counts, charging himself with inciting war crimes in Croatia and Bosnia during the conflict, as well as the expulsion of Croats from Vojvodina.
The Hague prosecution appealed against this case, and SESH presented a written reply in complaint./Persycopi/
