Three Turkish citizens have arrived in Turkey, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced.
Speaking to lawmakers of his party Justice and Development Party, Erdogan has pledged that he will continue the persecution of Gulen supporters “regardless of where they are”.
“Gabon has returned to Turkey three heavy gylenists. No matter where they go, we will find”, Erdogan said.
State news agency Anadolu, citing security sources, has said the three suspects were detained during an operation conducted by Turkish intelligence. According to this agency, suspects have been brought to Turkey and handed over to authorities who are questioning them.
The three suspects have reportedly worked in schools led by the Gulen network. According to the Anadolu agenda, they were arrested on March 23rd in Gabon, and Ankara accuses them of participating in the terrorist organisation.
