It is not yet known whether to proceed tomorrow, as was warned, the draft law on KSF for approval in Government.
Kosovo Security Force Law (FSK), with which it is supposed to help the Kosovo Army founding process, which was warned to surrender for approval in Government on Monday (April 30th) of this year, is still not known whether it is ready to proceed further.
The warning of sending the government of this draft law was yesterday made by the Ministry for the Kosovo Security Force, through the director of information at the ministry. This, despite objections from the Serbian List for the idea of changing the KSF's mandate from security forces to military mandate.
“The MSF is conducting its activities and obligations under the government's legislative plan. Currently, we are awaiting the financial declaration for budgetary costs from the Ministry of Finance, as well as consent from the Ministry of European Integration in order for the draft laws to be harmonised with EU legislation. We, in line with the Legislative Strategy of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the MPSK Action Plan, will submit a draft law to the Government” by 30 April, had declared Ibrahim Shala, director of the Department for Public Relations at the MSF for Media.
Today, however, none of the three ministries mentioned by Shala KSF, the MF and MIE have responded to KosovoPress's questions whether the recommendations are provided and whether the draft law will be submitted for approval to Government tomorrow or not.
When the MSF minister, Rrustem Berisha, was contacted by Kosva pris, he said to be contacted in half an hour, but even after half the hour demanded by the minister, he has no longer responded to calls and editorial messages.
Even contacted officials of the Ministry of Finance and European Integration have not answered the questions of the editorials.
