Independent Party of Deputies MP Faton Topalli has announced that this gout has prosecuted the Legislative Initiative “The Referendum” Bill.
“This bill will define rules and procedures for referenda that are not included in Law No. 03/L-040 for Local Self-Government of the Republic of Kosovo. The law regulates the declaration and implementation of referenda, and the three types of referenda are defined: abolishing, constitutional, and consulting”, Topalli said.
According to him, practices are introduced through this draft of countries in the region as well as European Union countries, Periscope reports.
“As deputy, and as a parliamentary group, we are open to all those who are interested in helping amend this bill after it is passed in principle in the Kosovo Assembly”, he said. /Periscopi/
