Two powerful states -- France and Britain -- have warned of consequences for states which could attract recognition of Kosovo's citizenship, thus hitting the many lobbies Serbia has committed consistently against Kosovo's citizenship.
Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti, given Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic's statements, writes that Great Britain is preparing a blow for Serbia.
Our “sources say that London is officially opposing the annulment of UN sessions regarding Kosovo, or their reduction in closed public consultations”, the paper writes.
Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic had stressed that he has received information that a European Union country and permanent member of the UN Security Council have said in Serbia's permanent representation in the US that in the future he will send protest marks to any country that attracts recognition of Kosovo.
While Daciq had not specified that he is referring to Britain, Belgrade media have found that the word is about him.
Likewise, France has warned protest marks on any state that in the future, at Serbia's request, will attract recognition of Kosovo's independence.
Belgrade newspaper” Politika” wrote that Paris is frustrated with Serbia's actions and activities against Kosovo and its position in the international arena.
