Ministers and former ministers responsible for forgiving four hydropower plants are not yet under investigation. Besim Beqaj, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Dardan Gashi, Bedri Hamza and Nenad Rassic are former ministers who signed the pardon of these plants six years ago.
Three of them also in Haradinaj Government exercise the same function. And none of the five is officially suspected of this case, writes Koha Ditore today.
With more than two years after “Koha Ditore” had uncovered the excuse scandal of four hydropower plants Turkish company, which five years ago bought the power distribution, the State Prosecutor has been in the information collection phase for about 25 months. In the Criminal Procedure Code this “activity” is deemed a prepenal phase.
“Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) is collecting needed information, several persons have been interviewed and we still have to interview. At the moment, we cannot provide further information as we are in the investigation phase”, the State Prosecutor's response to the case says.
