From Thursday to Saturday, a European Union delegation is expected to remain in Kosovo to receive data about fighting organised crime and corruption as the last criterion for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.

During this week, a European Union delegation is expected to come to Kosovo, which will collect data from Kosovo institutions on how much has been worked on meeting the latest criteria for abolishing visas.

So has announced to the newspaper “Voice” Minister of European Integration, the Gift Hoxha, who has said the visit will take place on May 3rd.

In this case Hoxha has indicated that the institutions have already made all necessary preparations on this issue, meanwhile, it has voiced confidence that Kosovo will receive positive results.

On the other hand, the European Commission has also stated to the paper that a technical level mission will soon be present in Kosovo.
But despite that, the opposition has voiced sceptical whether there will be good news after this visit.

This, according to them, has not been worked enough towards meeting the latest criteria for visa removal, fighting organised crime and corruption. However, the former justice minister has considered that citizens will be able to move freely within this year.
