Fighting organised crime and corruption remain the two main challenges Kosovo must face, the chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, said on Wednesday at the upcoming Kosovo conference: “Advancing reforms, regional co-operation and European integration”, organised by the Balkan Group in co-operation with Democracy for Development and the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies, writes Koha Ditore today.
The European Union, according to her, is looking carefully at the area of rule of law in Kosovo, with which cases it has stressed that a little work has been done, but that progress must still be achieved”. The conference is held on the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence and on the eve of the Sofia Summit.
