Turkey has managed to bring 80 members of the FETO terrorist organisation, who have stayed abroad, said Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdoğan, reports the Anadolu Agency (AA).
In a speech to the usual meeting of the Justice and Development Party (AK) in Istanbul, Erdoğan said that 80 FETO terrorists have been brought to Turkey to this day.
“We will follow the others”, Erdoğan said, expressing confidence in the behavior of both FETO leader Fetullah Gylen. “You, currently in Pennsylvania, will also come to”, the Turkish president added further.
Last week, Turkish intelligence officials brought to Turkey three senior FETO members who were detained during an anti-terrorist operation in Gabon, Africa, while during March, six senior FETO members were sent to Turkey, who were detained after an operation by the Turkish National Intelligence Agency (MIT) in co-operation with Kosovo intelligence.
They were responsible for extracting Turkey of remaining FETO members to be sent to Europe and the US.
The terrorist organisation FETO in 1970 began to infiltrate its confidence in Turkey's security institutions, following what in the 80s significantly strengthened its parallel pyramids in these institutions.
On July 15th 2016, the terrorist organisation FETO carried out failed coup attempt with the aim of overturning constitutional order and democraticly elected power in Turkey.
At least 249 people lost their lives during the coup attempt, while thousands were injured.
