As Reuters reports, Erdogan has been having a conversation with the Russian president once and then the French president. The Turkish president's office has said talks were held following attacks on Syria by the US, Great Britain and Russia.
Erdogan and Putin have agreed to work to reduce tensions in Syria and continue efforts at a political solution.
