According to him, the closure of a European perspective for Albania would leave a void that Russia or Islamic radicalism would be ready to exploit has been expressed by the Albanian prime minister.
“Denying Albania membership one day in the European Union can feed Islamic radicalisation in this Balkan state, jeopardising regional stability. Don't leave a void to be filled by other states. Statistically, Albania is a predominantly Muslim country, but I would say the main religion in Albania is Europe. So all these forces, they're practically the main investors in radicalisation from this side of Europe. So I hate”, Rama is saying. To illustrate the intervention of foreign forces, he brought to the attention what happened in Montenegro, where he tried to get Russia to do a state-run épucci.
The Albanian prime minister is in Berlin to lobby for opening negotiations with the European Union in June.
He held a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. While the previous day in the Albanian capital was visiting European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
