Lulzim Basha accused Edi Rama that with crime money, drugs and corruption are funding in the media a campaign of accusations and slander against Gunther Krichbaum, deputy of Chancellor Anglea Merkel's party, for years chairman of the European Affairs Commission in Bundestag.
“Gunther Krichbaum is one of Europe's most honourable and respected political figures. Above all, Gunther Krichbaum is a man who loves and supports Albania. But it wants an Albania where the rule of law and democracy rule. Instead of reflecting on Krichbaum's just criticism, Edi Rama has chosen to produce a campaign of slander and false news, face-to-night, against European Union Affairs Commission Chairman in Bundestag”, writes Facebook Lulzim Basha.
Basha was called to the hearing in Bundestag, when the European Commission was recommending candidate status. A day later, Prime Minister Rama was attacked for meetings with German deputies, including Krishbaum.
The Democrat leader said he urged Germany to vote for Albania. Disbeliever Rama continued with the same line in German media, but differentring sceptical MPs from Chancellor Merkel. But on Saturday Basha declared Rama only adding damage
“With attacks on Krichbaum, Edi Rama is only adding to the ranks of German deputies in Bungestaff who are pessimistic about opening negotiations with Albania, whose vote is necessary before the German government makes its decision for Albania”, the DP leader declared through social networks.
The charges did not leave the prime minister indifferent.
“You've just said in Albanian for the public, what with the help of Albania's <x1-lovemies” you wrote German and sent yesterday to Berlin, for allegedly my sponsorship in Tirana's media pot, to Mr. Gunther Krischbaum!”, Rama reacted through social networks.
Rama emphasises that he has no friend, nor is he sympathetic to the Socialist party and government, and denies involvement in the campaign against Krishbau. An appreciation for the past still holds it.
I don't agree with his opinion of my government's work, and he knows that very well, because he heard it from me, eye to eye, not behind his back. But the gentleman in question has all my respect for the help he gave when he pledged to block the Justice Reform and the Never-ever, not that one, but no stranger interested in Albania, has been the target of any shelled attack by me or the Socialist Party. We'll never be able to do that.
