The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuric, has arrived in Banjska, near Zvecan, last night around 11:00.
He will participate in liturgy dedicated to Easter at the Banjka monastery.
Djuric has told reporters that Serbia will always be near its people in Kosovo.
“We Serbs are few in number, but we are courageous and freedomd people and will remain here in Kosovo and we will know how Serbia can protect our people in Kosovo, because here in Kosovo more than 1,000 years we have been building the identity of all Serbian people. It's also being built in the past, it's being built today, and you're sure it's going to be built in the future, say Djuric, broadcast the news.net.
Welcoming the faithful for Orthodox Easter, Djuric has stressed that this time his order is “love towards all, stability and persistence”.
This is Djuric's first visit to Kosovo following the March 26th arrest in Mitrovica.
Djuric has been granted permission by Kosovo authorities for this religious visit.
