I have no problem with anything that is involving or demanding my personal sacrifice that connects with Kosovo and I am always willing to share fate with my people here.
So has declared today in northern Mitrovica the so-called head of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djurovic, during his visit to two buildings, the investment of the Government of Serbia, dedicated to Serb families belonging to the sensitive social category.
He told reporters that with the support of the Government of Serbia, both in residence, agriculture, etc., he sends clear messages to Serbs for a better perspective in these areas.
According to him, Pristina has no serious intention of forming the Association of Serbian municipalities, but, as he put it, Serbian representatives will expect the deadline set by the international community.
He has not specified whether Serbs will form the Association itself in the event of failing to form it within the deadline set by internationals.
“I think there is no serious intention of working in this direction, this presents a political and diplomatic maneuver aimed at cutting off international pressure on Pristina, because everyone is clear that Pristina is not implementing the agreement on the Association of Serbian municipalities... But since they all say they want to do something in this direction, come together and see if they're telling the truth... I don't have any problem with anything that evolutiones or requires my personal sacrifice that connects with Kosovo, but I don't think nobody should talk about it publicly, while I'm always willing to share fate with my people here”, Djuric said.
Meanwhile, Mitrovica's northern chairman, Goran Rakiq, has ordered Albanians not to prejudge that everything that is good for Serbs is not good for Albanians and vice versa.
He argued that the Serb municipal community will be more powerful than the Serb Republic in Bosnia, but in an economic way.
The Serbian municipality's “Union should be formed in accordance with the Brussels agreement ... I have used the occasion to order Albanians, that prejudices about what is good for Serbs is automatically not good for Albanians and what is good for Albanians, automatically not good for Serbs, will no longer exist. The Serb municipality community is not a threat to any other community. What we have recently heard is whether the Serb municipal community will be the Serbian Republic, of course we have said our position that the Serb municipal community will by no means be the Serb Republic, but will be stronger than the Serbian Republic, in terms of economics. We will bring investors, open new jobs, and economically strengthen the 10 Serb majority municipalities”, Rakic stressed.
Djuric has also visited the new brewery in the village of Biansk, as well as works on objects being built under the Rajska Banja possibly complex.
Otherwise, the two buildings in northern Mitrovica have surfaces of about 1,000 square metres, which are owned by 12 residences and tools for their construction worth 64m dinars, or over 542 thousand euros, have been secured by the so-called Kosovo Office near the Government of Serbia, while the brewery in Banjska has cost this office 25 million dinars or over 211,000 euros.
