Montenegro's new president, Milo Djukanovic, said they have fulfilled the promise by winning the first round.
He believes the victory means supporting Montenegro's road to the European Union. I am convinced that we will not lose citizens' expectations and that in the next five years we will take this final step”, Djukanovic said in the old government building.
He said that he appreciates the enthusiasm, loyalty, and commitment of citizens and that he is happy to realize that in this way he will lead a better life even though they have problems in everyday life. He thanked DPS and coalition partners and said they were “an invincible coalition”.
