12 people have been assigned 30-day detention in connection with the April 5th assassination in Tetovo's Little Recica.
According to Rtv21.tv, the detention has been assigned to seven people from Cerkezi in Kumanovo, three others from Kumanovo, one from the village of Opaj and another person from Albania's Elbasan.
The incident occurred 300m from the headquarters of the ruling Albanian party DUI (Democratic Union for Integration) and that people involved in the event were activists of the party. Media reported that the incident has erupted for political motives, but DUI through a communiqué denied this, stressing that people have not been to party headquarters and that the incident does not connect with their political subject.
