The chief executive position has applied 11 candidates, 4 of whom have been on the narrow list.
Ilir Shala is a magistrate at the Faculty of Electric Engineering at Pristina University, as well as the magistrate in service management and leadership by Rochester Institute of Technology ( THREE Kosovo. Shala has over 18 years of experience in the energy sector.
In the period 2003-2006, he has held the position of director of the Department of Projects and Investments at the KEK Transition and District Division, which has continued in COST since its establishment in 2006.
From June 2017 to now, Shala has held a Zv position. Chief Executive Development in COST.
Shala has attended various leadership programmes, including the “International Visual Leadezerip Programme (IVLP) ”, at the invitation of the American State Department and is an active member of KUSA (Kosovo United States Alumni).
COSTT's board is comprised of Gani Jashari member Africa Prekazi member Nebit Zariqi a member and Ilir Shala chief executive chief.
At the Government meeting late September 2017, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj had fired 10 directors of public enterprise boards.
Drita Kondzheli, Musa Misini and Anita Cukovic were the directors dismissed by the past COST Board.
