Speaking at the “Dialogue Kosovo-Serbia and the EU's enlargement perspective”, organised by the Group for Political and Juridical Studies, Konjufca said that when consensus is made to satisfy any political figure is wrong.
According to him, not every official institutional agenda is protecting our state interest.
If we look at the content of this consensus and there come projects that are contrary to the country's interest then Vetevendosje does not participate. So far it has happened to us without a fatal mistake that has occurred because of poor government representation of Kosovo's interests. In relation to Serbia, we have been separated from the state proclamation. We shouldn't have gone beyond the compromises of declaring the state. Serbia is trying to impose a new phase of compromises that needs ambalgeu with a future process -- Serbia's recognition of Kosovo” -- has said Konjufca.
He has said dialogue with Serbia should lead the Government, not the president.
Konjufca has also criticised Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's move, which has handed the report on dialogue to President Hashim Thaci.
