Conflicts Begin Within Pristina Community

The group of Vetvendosje Movement Assemblyists in the Pristina municipality has charged its co-residents with the tendency to capture the Public Local Company until yesterday.

In a long letter that you can read below, the Assembly Group writes that “through some reckless, irregular and illegal actions, the director of the Property Directorate in the Pristina municipality, Dren Kukaj, along with a group of individuals are making an attack on the National Public Enterprise Company, with the intention of dismissing the legal director, Nexhat Krysuun<11>.

The Public National Company, under the direction of Nexhat Kryeziu, has been one of the success stories in the Pristina municipality. It has been mentioned proudly often by Shpend Ahmeti himself, as one of the companies where much property and public assets previously used illegally were accomplished, robbing the public.

Under the direction of Nexhat Kryeziu, and with the support of the Vetevendosje Movement! This company has succeeded in many parameters, managing to be one of the rare companies in all of Kosovo that comes up with a positive financial balance, so profitable, which does not happen with other companies in Pristina municipality.

However, one is being very rushed to put his hands into this successful enterprise, illegally changing decision-making mechanisms and leading positions. Through some reckless, irregular and illegal actions, the director of the Property Directorate in the Pristina municipality, Dren Kukaj, along with a group of individuals are making an attack on the National Public Company, with the intention of moving the legal leader, Nexhat Kryeziu.

illegally Dren Kukaj has called a meeting of Public Enterprise Company shareholders on 2603.18. He called the meeting by committing several procedural violations and calling the meeting in his office instead of calling it to the NPB. At that meeting he did not attend, and the meeting was canceled. Yet he continued with the transgressions of the law.

Along with the other shareholder, Sahiti stands, they have sent a decision they made to the NPB without calling a meeting. According to that decision, No.14-020/01-71674/18 of the 2603.18, the two shareholders of the Public Company, Dren Kukaj and Sahiti standing have appointed 4 temporary members of the Board of Directors of the Public Company, Sh.a. Pristina. In the same decision, they order this board of illegal members to compile a summary of the NPB situation.

But according to the Stout of the S.a. Pristina Public Enterprise Company, point 26.4, each meeting of the Board of Directors with the company's administrative staff is contrary to the principles of corporate governance.

This decision is illegal and applicable for a number of reasons that we're going to point to:

First with Law No. 03 L-087 date 13.06.2008 For Public Enterprises, the Municipal Commission of Directors for Local Public Enterprises has no right to appoint members of the Board of Directors with a temporary mandate.

Second, the meeting of the Action Commission itself called on the 26th, which also lacked Dren Kukaj himself was called against local company regulations, because except that the announcement was in less than 24 hours, there was no mention of the agenda and no other detail.

And third, since that meeting was not held, the decision to appoint temporary board members is unknown where he was taken to which meeting. So the ad hoc appointment of certain individuals as interim members of the Board of Directors by not respecting the competition declared by the municipal commission of shareholders itself is unreasonable and illegal

A new board cannot be assigned without a decision to download the preliminary board.

All these violations culminated in March 30th 2018, when the individual named Anita Shabani brought to the NPB a decision on the appointment of a new chief chief, the decision issued by this illegal board. Management NPB did not accept this illegal document, and it was directed by Mrs. Saban leave the NPB premises. Anita Shaban's husband, Ilir Cacaj, and her brother working in the Kosovo police, who have threatened to break into NPB facilities and will exert power over current chief Nexhat Kryeziu. But they are not allowed by NPB employees to enter.

They later went to the Kosovo police where they denounced Mr. Nexhat Kryeziu on false charges, as if she misbehaved Mrs. Shaban. After association with the police was proven to be false, even more so in NPB environments, there are internal cameras that prove everything. Mrs. Shaban and her brother are constantly finished. He even ran into police facilities.

Who is taking an interest in such illegal acts and indecent behavior that aim to recapture a corrupt enterprise?

Movement V I keep supporting Mr. President. Nexhat Kryeziu and NPB management, and I will follow this job legally so as not to allow NPB to recapture.
