One of the detainees of the March 31st protest in Calimash was Leftter Regmati, who worked for three years making transportation of Kukes-Tirana, one street a day.
The Lefter had to pay 22 euros a day according to tariffs imposed by the concession company, and that was why he went out in protest. After the protest, however, the police went home to arrest him in the early hours of Sunday. Today, Kukes ' judge ruled to free Leftter Regmat
Invited to “Top Shoe”, Lefter relates the moments of arrest that took place in the van where he slept for fear of being robbed.
I was asleep in the van when the police arrived. I didn't even know they had gone home before. I asked them why they arrested me but did not answer me. At 3:30, I was arrested and it was a barbarous arrest. It was arrest as if I had killed anybody”, Lefter remembers.
Furthermore, Lefter said that <x0acza said we hit the police forces and burned the point where the fee was paid, but I didn't hit any police. I've been shot and bloodied”
Protester shows the reasons he went on the protest for “The nation's path”: “Dola in protest because the road fee is too expensive for me. Rounding was 30 thousand dollars. I don't get my account, adding that it's just me working at home”.
When asked if he would appear in the upcoming protests, Lefter said: “I can't go out in protest anymore, because I'm not allowed by court”. / T CH
