Palestinians have protested April 6th by throwing stones at Israeli soldiers, as well as pouring black smoke, with the aim of blocking the sight of Israeli snipers on the rest of the border.
The Israeli army has again announced that it will not allow the destruction of the border. The troops are said to be responding with firearms, tear gas and rubber bullets.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has said three Palestinians have been injured in locations different from Israeli fire.
Protesters have sought to allow the return of Palestinian refugees, who have been forced to flee territory in 1948, when Israel was created.
Israel, however, has said the protests were ordered by the militant group Hamas so that protesters can cross illegally into territory to launch the attacks.
April 6 protests have been smaller compared to those a week ago.
