Two of Europe's largest airlines have been affected by strikes, cancelling hundreds of flights and thus affecting thousands of travelers.
Tens of thousands of travelers to Europe have been blocked as a result of similar social movements in France and Germany that have affected several airports and aviation giants of the two countries.
In Germany, strikes organised at Frankfurt airports, the largest airport in the country, Munich, Culny and Bremen, have forced German “Lufthansa” cancels more than 800 flights, thus affecting about 900,000 passengers.
Other airports, such as Leipzig's, Hanover's and Hamburg's, have also been affected.
Even “Eurowings”, the subsidiary of the German air giant is also involved in the strike.
It's a warning strike by airport staff to influence pay talks in public office, which will resume in mid-April.
This way of negotiations is classic in Germany.
At the same time with air company “Lufthansa”, even “Air France”, has cancelled one in 4 of its flights (25%), as the crews of this company participated in the strike, in support of claims to raise 6% of wages, Atsh continues.
Meanwhile, “Air France” indicated that it faces a cost of around 170m euros, due to a long wave of strikes by its employees.
