PDK MP Flora Brovina stressed that the National Auditing Office has ruled that the SSH has not been operational. However, she has expressed her optimism that with the jobs the new minister has begun to take, there will be movement in this direction.
“Unfortunately auditing confirms that SSH has not been fully operational and has not been fully effective in the implementation plan by 2014. Up to 30 percent of the involvement has failed to be implemented. This impasse has also caused no development of the implementation of the health insurance fund SSH, which means that the precondition for functioning of this” project has been lacking, she said.
Brovina said the absence of SSH is not an obstacle to realising health insurance, as they can begin with fund insurance, or even Government itself to allocate funds for the fund because it has been done in other states.
However, according to MP Brovina, health insurance cannot be provided without protocol. But according to her, if they wait until the protocol ends, then they can be delayed in health insurance.
