Supported by the United States are Great Britain and France, which are participating in this offensive, while Theresa May also officially confirmed the British fleet's presence in the Syrian attack.
President Trump himself announced that he has ordered an air strike with precision, not to harm Syrian citizens, while believed it would be the biggest offensive of allies against the Assad regime.
“A combined operation with the armed forces of France and Great Britain is currently under way”, President Trump said a few minutes ago.
The target of Allied missiles at the moment is only the bases suspected that the Assad regime preserves chemical weapons, while reports that the blasts have also been felt near Damascus.
This attack comes just days after the US accused Syria of using chemical weapons in the city of Douma, while Russia's reaction, threatening war, is still expected if Syria is attacked.
