As springtime begins, there is an increase in risk of being bitten by ticks in several municipalities in the country.

The most affected is Malisheva's, where six such cases have been reported during the past month alone, reports KTV.

Village dwellers in this municipality feel threatened.

They complain that ticks are not disappearing from sprays in the area.

And in the municipality, they say they have prepared and taken necessary measures for campaigns as protective measures against bleeding fevers.

Among the municipalities considered endangered by ticks are the municipality of Rahoveci, Suhareka, Peja and Prizren.

But Malisheva is the most affected, for as a result of the stroke of bleeding fever caused by the stinging of the ticks, 12 people have died.
