According to the news agency Kyodo, a 73-year-old man named Yoshian Yamasaki has been arrested on suspicion that for more than 20 years, he has imprisoned his son in a 1m-high wooden cage and 2m width, the Anadolu Agency broadcast.
A local employee who had taken care of the state of health of Yamasaki's wife before she died, in January month, announced authorities on the case. After that the police have begun investigations into the case and stopped Yamasaki.
He told the officials that his son, who had been confined from 16 years of age until now, gave him food every day and allowed every second day to wash.
Meanwhile, it becomes known that Yamasaki's son, now 42 years old, is in good health, and that he has been sent to social welfare institutions.
