Agreement includes four MQ-4C Triton Aicraft System without a pilot, as well as a mission control station, an operational base, an advanced operational base, equipment and other services.
Drons will be produced by military contractor Northrop Grumman Krip, Defence Airbus and Space, reports “DW” Transmission Periscope.
The German newspaper “Welt” reported that the fears would be equipped with German intelligence and monitoring technology.
“German is one of the economic powers in Europe, NATO and a key partner of the United States that the globe provides for peace and stability,”, the State Department said.
The proposed view of Triton Mq-4C will support legitimate national security requirements and significantly increase German intelligence, monitoring, detection (ISR) and collective security of the European Union and NATO.”/Periscopi/
