Bejtush Gashi from the New Kosovo Alliance has been appointed Minister of Internal Affairs today.
He has served in the post of deputy minister of the Kosovo Security Force.
He was legalist at the Education School at the University of Pristina, at the one in architecture, the one in Elektrotechnics, and legalized several private colleges.
During 2006 - 2007, Gashi was elected to the office of director of the Department of Internal Security Policy at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Gashi received the title Doctor Science with the protection of the theme “Military Presence in Kosovo in 1945-1990”, “Spiro Moisiu”, Tirana.
He was born on July 27, 1957, in Pristina.
His appointment to this position came after the dismissal of Flamur Sefaj on the part of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj following the case of the deportation of six Turkish citizens from Kosovo.
