According to newspaper Express sources, it is taught that Kadri Veselin and Ramush Haradinaj Haradinaj have already announced that at the moment the indictment is confirmed against him, it will be dismissed from the position of Minister of Innovation due to involvement in the “Proto”
On Friday, the Special Prosecutor announced that she has filed charges for several people, including top PDK officials, for the vicinity symbolising Kadri Veselin's party, near “Proto”.
“If it were my party's minister, I would dismiss it for two minutes”, Kadri Wessel had said of former Prime Minister Flamur Sefaj after the kidnapping scandal of Turkish citizens.
And such a decision, chairman of The PDK has not received it for Minister of Innovation Besim Beqaj and MP Zenun Pajaziti.
But, Express newspaper reports that Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Wessel have asked the Minister of Innovation to release his task once the indictment is confirmed against him.
The same has been confirmed by the prime minister himself on the Pressing show on television 7.
Government chief has said that once the indictment is confirmed against him, Beqaj must release the minister's position.
Beqaj himself has not reflected even after the act. He immediately after the Special Prosecutor's announcement, has said he is institutionalist and said he is willing to argue each of his actions.
I've been and I'm an institutionalist, and I believe in Kosovo there are responsible and professional institutions that will address the case in detail in question. I am willing, as I have been so far, to explain and argue my every political and legal act. The written facts and documents are always more valuable than the current and biased assessments”, Beqaj wrote in response to sending to the media.
The special prosecution last week has filed charges against 11 persons suspected of the relative known as the “Proto”, most of whom senior Democratic Party officials.
They are accused of committing criminal acts, violating the equal status of citizens and residents.
