The incident took place at a Nairobi hospital in Kenya, where doctors performed surgery on the wrong patient.
At the hospital, two different people were being treated, one having a blood clot in the brain and needed intervention, while the other was treated only for one Thursday.
Doctors take this second and perform the operation, while for hours they were seeking blood clots in the brain but without result, leading them to realize that they have confused the patient.
Currently, another investigation has been opened, while a hearing is expected to be held in this case. The event comes only six weeks after the launch of sexual assault investigations on young mothers in the same hospital.
