Witness shows whether Shefqet Krasniqi has been misusing

During today's session to imam Shefqet Krasniqi, Kosovo Tax Administration inspector Xheme Shala has testified about the point of evasion of taxes, Periscope reports.

The witness has acquitted Imam Shefqet Krasniqi, saying he has fulfilled all his obligations in ATK.

Special Prosecutor Elez Blakaj asked whether the witness stands behind the report's check and annexes made in 2016.

In his response, the witness said the review report is compiled on its part, under the supervision of the team's leader and regional manager, and generally stands behind the report's control.

While in Anex control, according to him, all are reflected and the only difference is the term used instead of additional tax or tax duties, figures tax evasion, which is also used in daily work as additional taxation.

Prosecutor Blakaj asked the witness whether after the end of the search the taxpayers were given in this case Shefqet Krasniqi to reason on the findings of the check, Perisokpi reports.

The Witness said that throughout the course of the check has been cooperation for all the findings in the check.

“At the conclusion of the search, we offer the taxpayers a draft report with all the findings in the check, changes from control, legal basis for change, and there is a five-day working deadline I can offer ATK to change the report. There was no observation in the report, but there was neither evidence of any change in draft report”, the witness said.

“As far as I have seen from the status of payers near ATK I know he has fulfilled all obligations, ATK inspector said in his testimony against Shefqet Krasniqi.

However, he said that he does not know how much the accused has paid taxes.

According to him, the basic tax has been around 20,000 euros, and that amount has been without punishment.
