Washington Reshua meets MCC leaders

Environment and Planning Minister Albena Resiti is continuing important meetings with leaders and representatives of various American organisations in Washington. Minister Resitij has been hosted by leaders of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), led by director Jonathan Nash. Environment and Planning Minister Albena Resiti is continuing important meetings with leaders and representatives of various American organisations in Washington.
Minister Resitij has been hosted by leaders of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), led by director Jonathan Nash.
This meeting included the deputy chairman of the Department of Politics and Appreciation Thomas Kelly, director of the James Gerard Support Programme, Caroline Wetzel Chen, Zv. Director and Leader of the Project for Management Environmental Data in Kosovo and Jenny Niedinger, official of Politics and Appreciation.
In a communiqué sent to the media, it is known that the main topic of discussion at this meeting was to define the project for measuring and publishing air quality data in Kosovo.
Minister Resitij has expressed satisfaction that a part of the MCC programme is support for transparent and accounting governance.
“On the other hand, the leaders of the new MCC confirmed their support for Kosovo, stressing that co-operation with the environment ministry and in particular with the Environmental Protection Agency is very important in achieving progress in the field of environment and in particular improving air quality. They also highlighted the importance of measurement and transparency in publishing data for air quality”, said further in the announcement.
Minister Resiti is staying in the United States at the World Bank's invitation.
