Voulin reacts to US General in connection with Serb danger

The announcement came after the US Department of Defence said on Thursday it was “misinformation” that prompted Serbian Defence Minister Alexander Vulin to criticise US European Commander Curtis Scaparoti, reports “b92”, the Periscope broadcast.

Media reported earlier that Scaparrotti, during his testimony to the US Armed Services Senate Committee, expressed deep concern that the lack of diplomatic activity contributed to the spread of Russian influence in the Balkans and when asked which country was the biggest problem.

Voulin reacted quickly to sharply criticise Scaparott, saying the US general had accused Serbia of being a danger to the Balkans.

Vulin also said there has been no “a more serious, irresponsible and most dangerous statement” since 1999, apparently a reference to NATO's attack on Serbia that year./Periscopi/
